When you place an order or create an account we collect your name, email address, shipping address, and payment information. When you browse the site we collect standard analytics data (page views, referrer, device type) through PostHog, which we use to understand how people use the site — never to build advertising profiles.
We use your information to fulfill and communicate about your orders, send transactional emails (order confirmation, shipping updates), improve the site based on usage patterns, and comply with legal obligations. We do not sell your data to third parties.
Payment details are processed by our payment processor and are never stored on Ramu Finds servers. We receive only a transaction confirmation and the last four digits of your card for reference.
We use cookies to maintain your session and shopping bag, and to gather aggregate analytics. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, though some site functionality may be affected. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.
If you opt in to our mailing list, we'll send occasional emails about new arrivals and stories. Every email includes an unsubscribe link. Transactional emails (order updates) are sent regardless of marketing preferences.
We retain order data for as long as required for legal and accounting purposes (typically 7 years). Analytics data is retained for 24 months. You may request deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting us.
You have the right to access, correct, or delete the personal data we hold about you. To exercise any of these rights, email us at hello@ramufinds.com with the subject line "Privacy Request." We will respond within 30 days.
We use a small number of trusted third-party services to operate the site (payment processing, email delivery, analytics). Each of these services has its own privacy policy and processes data only as required to provide their service.
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, but we work to use industry-standard practices where it matters.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The date of the most recent revision appears below. Material changes will be communicated by email to customers with active accounts.
